Creamy Garlic Mushroom Chicken ~ One Pan Chicken Recipe



This is an easy creamy and delicious one pot chicken recipe with a luscious garlic mushroom gravy. Lawry's seasoned salt 1 tsp. garlic powder 1 tsp. onion powder 1/4 tsp. poultry seasoning 1/4 tsp. white pepper olive oil *Coat both sides of chicken thighs with olive oil and seasonings In skillet on medium to medium high heat add oil to coat bottom of pan and place chicken thighs skin side down. Let cook for 4-5 minutes or until skin forms a nice golden crust. Flip over and let cook for 2 minutes. Place in a preheated 375 degree Farenheit oven for 30-40 minutes depending on size of the chicken. Internal temp should be 165. Remove from oven when done. Remove chicken from pan, cover and set to the side. 1 large finely diced onion 1 pound slice button mushrooms 1 pound slice bella mushrooms 4 large cloves minced garlic 1/2 tsp. thyme 1/2 tsp. rosemary 1/4 tsp. black pepper or to taste 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese 1 tbsp. flour 1 cup chicken broth 1-2 cups cream or half and half 1 tbsp. Dijon mustard In same skillet with about 2 tbsp. of reserved oil on medium heat add the minced onions. Cook and stir for a couple minutes. Add sliced mushrooms. Cook and stir for 4-5 minutes or until the mushrooms release their moisture and start to reduce in liquid. Add minced garlic, thyme, rosemary and black pepper. Cook and stir for a minute. Add flour and stir until absorbed. Add chicken broth and 1 cup of cream or half and half. Stir and add Dijon mustard. Stir, bring up to a simmer and cook on a low simmer for about 5-7 minutes or until it reduces a little and thickens. Right before its done add in handful of chopped fresh parsley and grated parmesan cheese. Stir and cook for a minute. Turn off heat. Add in chicken pieces and baste with mushroom gravy. Serve with noodles or rice. Enjoy. *****************************************
