Chinese Chicken Wings Recipe ~ How To Make Spicy Sticky Chicken Wings

Enjoy. #chickenwings #chinesechicken #tesscooks4u #chinesechickenwings #spicychickenwings #stickychickenwings #recipes #cooking #food Chinese Chicken Wings Recipe ~ Chinese Spicy Sticky Chicken Wings INGREDIENTS: CHICKEN MARINADE: 1 1/2 to 2 pounds chicken wings/drumettes 2 tbsp. oil 1/2 tsp. garlic powder 1/2 tsp. onion powder 1/2 tsp. ground ginger 1/2 tsp. paprika 1/4 tsp. five spice powder 1/4 tsp. white pepper 1/4 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. sugar *Mix above ingredients and marinate for 2-8 hours. Bake at for 400 degrees Farenheit 40 minutes. Flip halfway. CHINESE SAUCE: 1/4 cup water 1/2 cup light soy sauce 2 Tbsp. honey 2 Tbsp. Shaoxing/ Chinese cooking wine 2 Tbsp. Hoison Sauce 1 Tbsp. Chili Garlic Sauce or Sambal 2 tsp. sesame oil 1 Tbsp. minced garlic 1 Tbsp. minced ginger *Bring ingredients to low simmer. Cook and stir for approx 10 minutes or until reduced and thickened. Remove from heat and let cool for 10 minutes. Spoon Chinese sauce over cooked chicken wings. Coat thoroughly. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped green onions. Serve immediately. Chinese Sweet and Sour Chicken Stir Fry Recipe Restaurant Style



This is a great comforting version of Chinese sweet and sour chicken.. I fried the chicken pieces to get a nice crust, sautee lots of veggies and bring it together with a tangy rich sweet and sour sauce. Enjoy. #sweetsourchicken #chickenstirfry #chinesechicken #tesscooks4u #recipes #chinesecooking #food Chinese Sweet and Sour Chicken Stir Fry Recipe INGREDIENTS: 1 pound cubed boneless chicken breasts or thighs 1 Tbsp. light soy sauce 1/8th tsp. white pepper 1 Tbsp. cornstarch *Mix above thoroughly Add 3-4 Tbsp. flour to coat thoroughly Heat pan with oil to 350 degrees. Fry for 4-5 minutes flipping occasionally or until golden crust is formed. Fry in 2-3 batches and be careful not to over crowd the pan. Remove chicken from pan and drain on paper towel or wire rack. SAUCE: 1/2 cup water 1/3 cup pineapple juice (can with chunk pineapple) 2 Tbsp. light soy sauce 3 Tbsp. ketchup 1/4 cup brown sugar - you can make sweeter if you wish 3 Tbsp. white vinegar 2 tsp. cornstarch 1/4 tsp. five spice powder - optional but I like it. *Mix above ingredients thoroughly. Remember to give one last stir before pouring into pan. Additional ingredients: 1 cup diced onions 1 cup diced bell peppers 1 pound quartered button mushrooms 4 large cloves minced garlic 1/2 to 1 cup chunk pineapple (same can with pineapple juice) oil In skillet or wok on medium heat add oil, minced garlic and diced onions. Cook and stir for one minute. Turn heat up to med high and add diced bell peppers. Cook and stir for 2 minutes. Add mushrooms, cook and stir for 4-5 minutes. Add pineapple chunks and pour sauce over top. Turn heat up to high to bring to simmer. Cook and stir for 1-2 minutes or until sauce thickens. Add chicken back into pan. Cook and stir until all is coated with sauce. Serve immediately. Enjoy. *****************************************

Chinese Beef and Mushroom Stir Fry Recipe



This is a rich and delicious Chinese beef and mushroom stir fry.. In this Chinese stir fry I use both shitake and bella mushrooms. The sauce is rich and delicious. Better than take out Chinese! Chinese Beef and Mushroom Stir Fry Recipe INGREDIENTS: 1 pound thinly sliced beef - I used London broil cut/ top sirloin cut 1/8 tsp. white pepper 2 tsp. light soy sauce 1 tsp. cooking wine 1 tbsp. cornstarch *Mix and marinate for 30 minutes Sauce: 1/4 cup water 2 tbsp. oyster sauce 2 tsp. dark mushroom soy sauce 1 tbsp. cooking wine 1 tbsp. sugar 1 tsp. cornstarch *Mix well 1 cup diced onions 1/2 cup shitake mushrooms - small or large sliced 16oz sliced button or bella mushrooms 2 tsp. minced garlic In a wok or pan on high heat add oil and beef. Spread and let cook for 15-20 seconds before stirring. Cook and stir for 2-3 minutes or until beef is done. Do not over cook. Remove from pan. On med high heat add oil and minced garlic. Cook and stir for 30 seconds. Add diced onions, cook and stir one minute. Add shitake mushrooms, cook and stir one minute. Add sliced bella mushrooms, cook and stir 2-3 minutes. Add beef back into pan and stir to combine. Pour sauce over top, cook and stir for one minute or until sauce thickens. Right before done cooking, add green onions and toss one more time. Serve and enjoy.

Chinese Chicken and Snow Pea Stir Fry Recipe ~ Tess Cooks4u

CHINESE CHICKEN AND SNOW PEA STIR FRY INGREDIENTS: 1 to 1 1/2 pounds sliced boneless chicken breast pinch of salt 1 tbsp. cooking wine 1 tbsp. cornstarch *Mix and marinate for 15-20 minutes In wok or pan on high heat add oil and chicken and spread out. Cook 15-20 seconds before stirring. Cook and stir for 5 minutes or until chicken is done. Remove from pan. 2 cups of snow peas 1 diced red bell pepper 1/4 diced green bell pepper 1 small can rinsed and drained sliced water chestnuts 1 cup diced yellow squash 4-6 red chilies 3-4 chopped garden onions - greens and whites separated 4 cloves minced garlic 1 tbsp. minced ginger oil Sauce: 1 cup chicken broth plus 1/2 tsp. better than chicken bouillon 2 tbsp. oyster sauce 1 tsp. dark soy sauce 1 tbsp. chinese cooking wine 1 tbsp. sugar 1 tbsp. cornstarch 1/2 tsp. sesame oil *Mix above ingredients well. In wok or pan on medium to med high heat add oil, minced garlic and ginger, whites of garden onions and water chestnuts. Cook and stir for one minute. Add bell peppers, cook and stir for one minute. Add snow peas, yellow squash and whole red chilies(optional). Cook and stir for 3-4 minutes or until veggies start to get tender. Don't overcook. Add cooked chicken and juices. Stir to combine. Add chopped green onions and sauce. Turn heat up to med high to high. Cook and stir for one minute and the sauce will thicken. Serve with steamed jasmine rice and enjoy.

Spicy Chinese Chili Garlic Chicken Stir Fry Recipe INGREDIENTS: 1 1/2 pounds ground chicken 1 finely diced onion 1 diced carrot 2 diced celery stalks 1/4 cup diced red bell pepper 1 cup diced cabbage 1/4 cup diced yellow squash chopped green onions 2 tsp. minced garlic 1 tbsp. sesame oil 4 tbsp. chicken fat 2 tbsp. chili garlic sauce 2 tbsp. Chinese cooking wine or rice vinegar 2 tbsp. brown sugar 2 tbsp. light soy sauce 1 tbsp. dark soy sauce In a wok or pan add 2 tbsp. chicken fat, 1 tbsp. sesame oil and 1 tsp. minced garlic. Cook and stir for 20-30 seconds and then add ground chicken. Cook, chop and stir for about 5 minutes or until chicken is cooked through. Remove from pan. In same pan on medium heat add 2 tbsp. of chiken fat, 1 tsp. minced garlic and chili garlic sauce. Cook and stir for about 30 seconds and then add chopped onions. Cook and stir for 1 minute. Add in carrots, celery and bell peppers. Cook and stir for 1 minute. Add chopped cabbage, cook and stir for 2-3 minutes. Add diced yellow squash, cook and stir for 1 minute. Add seasonings: cooking wine, sugar, light soy sauce, dark soy sauce. Cook and stir until combined. Add cooked chicken back into pan. Cook and stir for another minute. Taste for any seasonings. Serve and enjoy.

Spicy Thai Vegetable Panang Curry Recipe INGREDIENTS: 1 cup diced onions 2 stalks diced celery 2 large diced carrots 1/2 cup diced bell peppers 2 cups quartered zucchini 1 can rinsed and drained sliced water chestnuts 1 can Thai panang curry paste 1 1/2 cups water or vegetable stock 1 can coconut milk 1-2 tbsp. creamy peanut butter 1 tbsp. minced garlic 1 tbsp. fish sauce , soy sauce or liquid aminos 2 tbsp. sugar juice 1/2 of lime 1/2 cup fresh thai basil jasmine rice oil In a pot add about a tbsp. of oil and Panang curry paste (add to your taste). Cook and stir for one minutes. Add minced garlic, cook and stir for 30 seconds. Add onions, carrots and celery. Cook and stir for a couple minutes and until all vegetables are coated with the curry. Add bell peppers, cook and stir for one minute. Turn heat up to med/high to high and add water and coconut milk. Stir. Add fish sauce, sugar and peanut butter. Stir and simmer for 3 minutes. Add water chestnuts and zucchini. Stir and simmer for 5-7 minutes or until zucchini and other veggies are tender. At end of cooking add lime juice and fresh thai basil. Stir to incorporate. Serve with steamed jasmine rice. Enjoy.

How To Make Teriyaki Chicken Meatballs INGREDIENTS: Teriyaki Sauce: 1/3 cup water 1/3 cup soy sauce 2 tbsp. rice vinegar 1 tbsp. mirin 1 tbsp. brown sugar 1-2 tbsp. honey 1 clove minced garlic 1 tsp. grated ginger 1/4 tsp. sesame oil slurry - 1 tbsp. cornstarch and 2 tbsp. water Add all ingredients except slurry into sauce pan. Turn heat up to bring to a simmer. Simmer for 3 minutes. Add slurry and sauce will thicken. Add Asian chicken meatballs. Cook and stir until all meatballs are heated through and coated with Teriyaki sauce. Serve and enjoy. Asian Chinese Chicken Meatballs INGREDIENTS: 1 pound ground chicken 1 large egg white 1 tbsp. soy sauce 1 tbsp. cooking wine 1-2 chopped green onions 1 tsp. sugar 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. white pepper 1 clove minced garlic 1 tsp. minced ginger 1/2 tbsp. sesame oil *Put above ingredients in a food processor and pulse/process for a minute to get the ingredients fully incorporated. Healing Chinese Chicken Soup Stir Fry Recipe ~ Chinese Cooking

Healing Chinese Chicken Soup Stir Fry INGREDIENTS: 3-4 cups chicken broth - homemade or low sodium boxed 1 tsp. minced ginger 2 cloves sliced garlic 2 tbsp. Shao Hsing cooking wine 1 tsp. light soy sauce 1 tsp. sesame oil pinch of salt 1/8 tsp. white pepper 1 tsp. sugar slurry - 1 tbsp. cornstarch and 2 tbsp. water 1 small diced onion 2 small diced carrots 2 diced stalks of celery about dozen broccoli florets 1 cup diced yellow squash 2 chopped garden onions INGREDIENTS: 1 large boneless chicken breast cut into thin slices 2 tbsp. cornstarch 1 egg white pinch of salt *Mix above ingredients and let set for 10 minutes. Bring pot of water up to almost a boil. Add chicken pieces. They will fall to bottom. Gently stir occassionally. Will take 1-3 minutes to cook depending on size. Chicken will float to top when done. Add chicken broth to pot and bring up to a simmer. Add garlic and ginger and stir. Add cooking wine, soy sauce, salt if needed, white pepper and sugar. Stir and simmer for 3-4 minutes. Add onions, carrots and celery. Cook for 5 minutes or until onions translucent. Add broccoli and cook for a minute. Add yellow squash and cook for a minute. Add any additional broth if wanted or needed. Add chicken into pot, sesame oil and slurry a little at a time until sauce thickned to the consistancy that you like. Cook and stir until combined and sauce thickened. Add chopped green onions and stir one more time. Serve and enjoy.

Spicy Chinese Ground Chicken Harvest Stir Fry Recipe INGREDIENTS: 1 to 1 1/2 pounds ground chicken 1 cup diced onion 1 cup diced yellow squash 1 cup diced green squash 1 cup diced snow peas 1 finely diced carrot 1 tbsp. minced garlic 1 tbsp. minced ginger oil SAUCE: 1/2 cup water 3 tbsp. Hoison sauce 1 tsp. dark soy sauce 3 tbsp. ketchup 3 tbsp. sweet chili sauce 1 tbsp. rice vinegar 1 tbsp. brown sugar 1 tsp. sesame oil 1 tsp. cornstarch *Mix above ingredients In a skillet on medium heat add oil, minced garlic and ginger. Cook and stir for 30 seconds and then add ground chicken. Cook, chop and stir until no longer pink. Add diced onions and carrots. Cook and stir for 2-3 minutes. Add diced squash and snow peas. Cook and stir for 3-4 minutes or until squash is tender. Pour over sauce. Cook and stir for 1-2 minutes. Serve with steamed jasmine rice and garnish with chopped garden onions. Enjoy.

How To Make Spicy Thai Shrimp Fried Rice Recipe INGREDIENTS: 1 pound of clean shrimp pinch of salt sprinkle of white pepper 1 tsp. sesame oil *Mix above ingredients and marinate for 30 minutes In skillet on medium high heat add oil to coat the bottom and shrimp. Cook for 2-3 minutes each side and remove from pan when done. SAUCE: 2 tbsp. soy sauce 2 tbsp. oyster sauce 1 tsp. shrimp paste or 1 tbsp. fish sauce juice of 1/2 lime 1 tbsp. sugar *Mix above ingredients 4 cups day old cooked jasmine rice 1 cup finely diced onion 1 1/2 cup finely diced cabbage 1 tbsp. minced garlic 1 tsp. minced ginger 4 chopped red chilies 1 cup fresh thai basil oil Garnish: lime, crispy fried egg In same skillet as you cooked the shrimp (should have 2-3 tbsp. oil on bottom), add minced garlic, ginger and red chilies. Cook and stir for 30 seconds. Add diced onions and cabbage. Cook and stir for 5-8 minutes or until tender. Add cooked rice, shrimp and juices back into pan. Pour over sauce. Cook and stir until incorporated. This will take a couple minutes. At end add fresh Thai basil and any other spices that you like. Stir one more time and serve. 1 pound broccoli florets - blanched for a couple minutes and placed
in cold water bath

1 tbsp. light soy sauce

How To Make Filipino Adobo Chicken

INGREDIENTS:
4-6 bone in chicken pieces - legs or thighs
1/2 cup sliced onion
3-4 bay leaves
chopped cilantro or green onions for garnish
oil

SAUCE:
1/2 cup light soy sauce
1/4 cup rice vinegar
1/4 to 1/2 cup water
Approx 12-15 whole peppercorns
8 large cloves minced garlic
1 tbsp. brown sugar
*Mix above ingredients

In a skillet on medium high heat add 3-4 tbsp. oil and place
salt seasoned chicken thighs skin down. Cook for 3-4 minutes or until  nice brown crust forms. Flip over and cook another 3 minutes.

Keep 3-4 tbsp. oil in pan. Add diced onions and cook for 2 minutes.
Pour over sauce and bring up to a simmer.
Add bay leaves.
Cover and simmer for 30 minutes.
Baste chicken with sauce for 1-2 minutes.

Serve with steamed broccoli and rice.
Enjoy.

Chinese SPICY Beef Stir Fry Recipe ~ How To Velvet Beef



This is an easy Chinese SPICY Beef Stir Fry recipe. I show you how to velvet the beef for a tender and soft piece of beef. Lots of flavor with a rich Hoison chili sauce giving it a kick of heat. If you like beef and like SPICY...you are going to enjoy this Chinese stir fry recipe.

Chinese SPICY Chili Beef Stir Fry

INGREDIENTS:
1 to 1 1/2 pounds thinly sliced beef - I used a London Broil cut
1/8 tsp. white pepper
1 egg white
2-3 tbsp. cornstarch
*Mix above ingredients and let marinate for 30 minutes
*Velveting technique:
Bring pot of water to light boil. Cook beef in two batches as to
not to overcrowd the pan.
Place beef in water and then give a gentle single stir so nothing sticks.
Let beef cook for 1-2 minutes and the beef will start to float to the top
when done. Remove from water and set to the side.

1 cup diced onions
1 large diced carrot
2 diced celery stalks
1/2 diced green bell pepper
1 tbsp. minced garlic
1 tbsp. minced ginger
oil
chopped green onions for garnish

SPICY SAUCE:
1/2 cup water
2 tbsp. ShaoXing cooking wine or rice vinegar
1 tsp. dark mushroom flavor soy sauce
4 tbsp. Hoison sauce
3 tbsp. ketchup
2 tbsp. brown sugar
4 tbsp. sweet chili sauce
2 tsp. cornstarch
*Mix above ingredients well and set to the side

In a wok or pan on medium heat add oil, minced garlic and ginger.
Cook and stir for 30 seconds.

Add vegetables, cook and stir for 5-8 minutes or until veggies are tender.

Pour over sauce, turn up heat to med high to bring to simmer.
Bring to simmer and cook for one minute.

Add cooked beef, stir to combine and serve.

Enjoy.

Panda Express Vlog Visit ~ Lots of Panda Express Chinese Food!



There is so many good things to order from PANDA EXPRESS. This Panda Express in in a food court here in Central Pennsyvlania. The orange chicken is good but really didn't have the orange flavor that I like. I like my copycat version. (LOL!) The bejing beef was a little dry and I will be attempting a copycat version. Overall everything was good and hard to beat for $21.

I use a Chinese cooking velveting technique that makes the chicken moist, soft , tender and velvety. The brussel sprouts add lots of flavor and everything coated with a delicious Chinese sauce. Chinese Velvet Chicken and Brussel Sprouts Stir Fry Recipe

INGREDIENTS:
1 cup diced onions
1/2 cup diced carrots - blanched
1 pound brussel sprouts - cleaned, halved/quartered and blanched
1 tbsp. minced garlic
oil

CHICKEN:
1 pound thinly sliced chicken breast
pinch of salt
1/8 tsp. white pepper
1 egg white
3-4 tbsp.  cornstarch
*Mix in bowl. Chicken should be fully absorbed with cornstarch. (sticky)

In pan of almost boiling water , add pieces of chicken.
Do not over crowd the pan. Chicken will float to the bottom.
Gently give a couple pushes so chicken does not stick to the bottom.
Cook chicken 2-3 minutes. When chicken is ready it will float to the top.

SAUCE:
1/2 cup water
1 tbsp. light soy sauce
1 tsp. dark soy sauce
2 tbsp. oyster sauce
1 tbsp. ShaoXing Cooking wine/ rice wine vinegar
1 tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. cornstarch
*Mix together in bowl

In skillet on medium high heat add oil, minced garlic and onion.
Cook and stir for 1-2 minutes.
Add blanched carrots and brussels sprouts and give gentle stir to combine.
Add cooked velvet chicken and pour over sauce.
Cook and stir until sauce thickens and everything is coated.
Enjoy.

Copycat Panda Express Orange Chicken ~ The BEST Orange Chicken Recipe

INGREDIENTS:
2 pounds cubed boneless chicken thighs
green onions for garnish
oil for frying

Dredge for chicken: First egg then flour/cornstarch mixture

Dry ingredients:
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. white pepper

Egg mixture:
2 eggs seasoned with salt and white pepper

Dredge chicken and then fry 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
Drain on paper towel or place on wire rack.

ORANGE SAUCE:
1 tbsp. minced garlic
1 tsp. minced ginger
1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes
1/2 cup orange juice
2 tsp. orange zest
1/4 cup water
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1/4 cup rice vinegar
1/3 cup honey
1/2 tsp. sesame oil

Add oil, minced garlic and ginger and red pepper flakes.
Cook and stir one minute.
Add remaining ingredients and bring up to a simmer. Cook for one minute.
Add slurry mixture by spoonfuls until consistency has thickened.
*slurry - 1 tbsp. cornstarch/2 tbsp. water

zest of lime

Spicy Lime Salad Dressing:
2 tbsp. rice vinegar
2 tbsp. fish sauce
2 tbsp. oil - vegetable or a bland oil
1 tbsp. honey
1 tsp. red pepper flakes
juice of a lime
