Beef Stew Stir Fry Recipe ~ ALL The Flavor of Beef Stew!



This is a different stir fry recipe using ground beef and lots of vegetables. Tonight I made a beef stew stir fry that has all the flavor and comfort of beef stew but less cooking time. INGREDIENTS: 1 pound ground beef 1 medium diced onion 1/2 diced yellow bell pepper 4 large sliced mushrooms 4 cloves minced garlic salt and black pepper *Brown ground beef and add onions, bell peppers and mushrooms. Cook and stir 5-7 minutes. Add salt, black pepper and minced garlic. Cook and stir one minute and remove from pan. 1 large sliced carrot 2 large sliced celery stalks 1 1/2 cups cleaned and halved brussels sprouts 3-4 diced plum tomatoes 1/2 cup water 1/2 tsp. thyme 1/2 tsp. rosemary 1/2 tsp. parsley 1/4 tsp. black pepper salt and black pepper In same pan on medium heat add carrots and celery. Cook and stir 2 minutes. Add brussels sprouts, cook and stir 3-4 minutes. Add plum tomatoes, cook and stir 2-3 minutes. Add water, cook and stir for 2 minutes. Add spices, cook and stir for 1 minute. Sauce: 1 cup beef broth - I used 1 tsp. better than bouillon beef 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 2 tbsp. red wine or red cooking wine 2 tsp. cornstarch *Mix well Add sauce to pan with vegetables. Turn heat up to bring to simmer. Stir and simmer for 3-4 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Add meat and other vegetables back into the pan, stir and serve. Bake at for 400 degrees Farenheit 40 minutes. Flip halfway. CHINESE SAUCE: 1/4 cup water 1/2 cup light soy sauce 2 Tbsp. honey 2 Tbsp. Shaoxing/ Chinese cooking wine 2 Tbsp. Hoison Sauce 1 Tbsp. Chili Garlic Sauce or Sambal 2 tsp. sesame oil 1 Tbsp. minced garlic 1 Tbsp. minced ginger *Bring ingredients to low simmer. Cook and stir for approx 10 minutes or until reduced and thickened. Remove from heat and let cool for 10 minutes. Spoon Chinese sauce over cooked chicken wings. Coat thoroughly. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped green onions. Serve immediately. Enjoy. #beefcabbagecasserole #casserolerecipes #cabbagerecipes #tesscooks4u #recipes #cooking #food Beef and Cabbage Casserole Recipe INGREDIENTS: 5 cups diced cabbage 1 1/2 to 2 pounds ground beef 1 medium diced onion 2 diced carrots 1/2 cup diced bell peppers 1/2 cup uncooked rice - I used jasmine rice 1 1/2 cups beef broth 1 - 28oz can diced tomatoes 3 cloves minced garlic 1 tsp. oregano salt and black pepper In skillet on med high heat brown and chop ground beef until no longer pink. Add onions, carrots and minced garlic. Cook and stir for 3-4 minutes. Turn off heat. In bowl add meat mixture, uncooked rice, diced tomatoes and spices. Mix well. Add diced cabbage and mix well. Add ingredients to baking dish. Pour over beef broth. Cover tightly with foil. Bake at 350 degrees Farenheit for 1 hour. Remove from oven, add bell peppers, stir well, return to oven and bake for 30-45 more minutes or until cabbage is tender. Remove from oven and let rest for 15 minutes before serving. Creamy Garlic Mushroom Chicken ~ One Pan Chicken Recipe



This is an easy creamy and delicious one pot chicken recipe with a luscious garlic mushroom gravy. Lawry's seasoned salt 1 tsp. garlic powder 1 tsp. onion powder 1/4 tsp. poultry seasoning 1/4 tsp. white pepper olive oil *Coat both sides of chicken thighs with olive oil and seasonings In skillet on medium to medium high heat add oil to coat bottom of pan and place chicken thighs skin side down. Let cook for 4-5 minutes or until skin forms a nice golden crust. Flip over and let cook for 2 minutes. Place in a preheated 375 degree Farenheit oven for 30-40 minutes depending on size of the chicken. Internal temp should be 165. Remove from oven when done. Remove chicken from pan, cover and set to the side. 1 large finely diced onion 1 pound slice button mushrooms 1 pound slice bella mushrooms 4 large cloves minced garlic 1/2 tsp. thyme 1/2 tsp. rosemary 1/4 tsp. black pepper or to taste 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese 1 tbsp. flour 1 cup chicken broth 1-2 cups cream or half and half 1 tbsp. Dijon mustard In same skillet with about 2 tbsp. of reserved oil on medium heat add the minced onions. Cook and stir for a couple minutes. Add sliced mushrooms. Cook and stir for 4-5 minutes or until the mushrooms release their moisture and start to reduce in liquid. Add minced garlic, thyme, rosemary and black pepper. Cook and stir for a minute. Add flour and stir until absorbed. Add chicken broth and 1 cup of cream or half and half. Stir and add Dijon mustard. Stir, bring up to a simmer and cook on a low simmer for about 5-7 minutes or until it reduces a little and thickens. Right before its done add in handful of chopped fresh parsley and grated parmesan cheese. Stir and cook for a minute. Turn off heat. Add in chicken pieces and baste with mushroom gravy. Entire Slow Cooker Chicken Dinner ~ Dump and Go Crock Pot Meals

Enjoy. #slowcookerchicken #crockpotchicken #dumpandgo #tesscooks4u #recipes #cooking #food Slow Cooker Entire Chicken Dinner Dump and Go Recipe INGREDIENTS: 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken thighs 1 1/2 cups mini carrots 1 cup fresh or frozen green beans 2-3 medium diced potatoes 1-2 boxes chicken stuffing mix 1 can cream of chicken 1 can cream of mushroom 1/2 cup water 1/4 tsp. black pepper 1 tsp. chives 1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning 1/2 tsp. thyme salt and black pepper Grease or oil spray inside of crock pot. Layer in order: mini carrots, chicken, stuffing mix, cream soup mixture. Cook on high for 2 hours and then add green beans and potatoes on top. Cook on high for additional 2 hours. OR, you can cook on low for 4 hours, add beans/potatoes and cook an additional 4 hours. Enjoy. *****************************************

Chinese Sweet and Sour Chicken Stir Fry Recipe Restaurant Style



This is a great comforting version of Chinese sweet and sour chicken.. I fried the chicken pieces to get a nice crust, sautee lots of veggies and bring it together with a tangy rich sweet and sour sauce. Enjoy. #sweetsourchicken #chickenstirfry #chinesechicken #tesscooks4u #recipes #chinesecooking #food Chinese Sweet and Sour Chicken Stir Fry Recipe INGREDIENTS: 1 pound cubed boneless chicken breasts or thighs 1 Tbsp. light soy sauce 1/8th tsp. white pepper 1 Tbsp. cornstarch *Mix above thoroughly Add 3-4 Tbsp. flour to coat thoroughly Heat pan with oil to 350 degrees. Fry for 4-5 minutes flipping occasionally or until golden crust is formed. Fry in 2-3 batches and be careful not to over crowd the pan. Remove chicken from pan and drain on paper towel or wire rack. SAUCE: 1/2 cup water 1/3 cup pineapple juice (can with chunk pineapple) 2 Tbsp. light soy sauce 3 Tbsp. ketchup 1/4 cup brown sugar - you can make sweeter if you wish 3 Tbsp. white vinegar 2 tsp. cornstarch 1/4 tsp. five spice powder - optional but I like it. *Mix above ingredients thoroughly. Remember to give one last stir before pouring into pan. Additional ingredients: 1 cup diced onions 1 cup diced bell peppers 1 pound quartered button mushrooms 4 large cloves minced garlic 1/2 to 1 cup chunk pineapple (same can with pineapple juice) oil In skillet or wok on medium heat add oil, minced garlic and diced onions. Cook and stir for one minute. Turn heat up to med high and add diced bell peppers. Cook and stir for 2 minutes. Add mushrooms, cook and stir for 4-5 minutes. Add pineapple chunks and pour sauce over top. Turn heat up to high to bring to simmer. Cook and stir for 1-2 minutes or until sauce thickens. Add chicken back into pan. Cook and stir until all is coated with sauce. Serve immediately. Enjoy. *****************************************

Drain excess fat. Add salt, black pepper, cook and stir for one minute. Remove from pan. On med heat, add olive oil, diced onion, bell pepper, carrot, pinch salt and black pepper. Cook and stir 2-3 minutes. Add minced garlic and mushrooms. Cook and stir 1-2 minutes. Add tomato paste, stir until dispersed. Add chicken broth/water and stir. Bring up to a simmer and add spices and stir. Add marzano tomatoes and juice. Stir, cook and chop tomatoes. Bring to simmer and cook for 5 minutes. Add zucchini and ground beef to pan. Stir, bring to simmer and cook for 10 minutes or until zucchini is tender. Add water as needed.. Taste for seasonings. Serve over pasta. Garnish with Parmesan cheese Enjoy. *****************************************

Add cold butter and cut into flour mixture until course crumbs. Stir together heavy cream, milk and vanilla extract. Pour into flour mixture and stir together until it starts for form then turn out onto a well floured surface. Pat and shape into rectangle. Fold in half and pat into another rectangle. Fold in half again and shape back into rectangle. Cover with tea towel and rest 30 minutes at room temperature. Lightly roll dough to approx 3/4" thick and cut biscuits. Transfer to parchment lined baking sheet. Lightly brush with egg wash and sprinkle with sugar (optional). Bake at 425 degrees Farenheit for 13-15 minutes or until golden brown. *****************************************

Cook and chop until no longer pink. Add onions and bell peppers and garlic. Cook and stir for 2-3 minutes. Add Rotelle and tomato paste. Cook and stir for another 2 minutes. Add water and stir. Bring up to a simmer. Add spices and stir. Add spaghetti and stir in as best you can. Cover and simmer for 13-15 minutes or until spaghetti is done. Stir a couple times during cooking so spaghetti does not stick. You can add water as needed. When done, top with cheese and any garnish you like. Enjoy. *****************************************

Do not over mix Preheat oven to 400 degrees Farenheit In a pan on medium high heat add a little oil and chicken. Cook and stir for 2-3 minutes or no longer pink. Add diced onions, bell peppers and a little salt. Cook and stir for another 2 minutes. Add minced garlic and stir. Add seasonings. Stir and cook for another minute. Add tomato sauce and stir. Add salsa, green chilies, corn and black beans. Stir, bring up to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes. Turn off heat. Add a little grated cheese on top of beef mixture. Add corn muffin mix by spoonfuls on top of mixture and spread out as best as you can. Bake at 400 degrees farenheit for 25 to 30 minutes. Remove from oven and top with more grated cheese and chopped onions. Let cool for 10-15 minutes before serving. Enjoy.

Adobo seasoning 1/4 tsp. white pepper 1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper 1/2 tsp. garlic powder 1/2 tsp. onion powder 1/2 tsp. thyme 1 tsp. paprika *Mix well so chicken is coated. Marinate for a minimum of 1 hour 1 1/2 cups long grain or jasmine rice - rinsed and drained 3 cups chicken broth 1 cup diced onions 1/2 cup diced red bell pepper 4-5 cloves minced garlic 3 tbsp. melted butter 1/4 tsp. white pepper 1/4 tsp. garlic powder 1/4 tsp. onion powder 1/3 tsp. celery salt Place diced onions, bell peppers, minced garlic, seasonings and melted butter on bottom of baking dish. Toss well. Sprinkle rice over mixture. Top with marinated chicken. Pour broth between chicken pieces into rice. Bake covered at 375 degrees Farenheit for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake another 20-30 minutes. Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes. Remove chicken from casserole, cover and rest. Cover rice and let rest for another 5 minutes. Fluff with spoon.

Easy One Pan Chicken Asparagus Pasta ~ Budget Friendly Family Meal

INGREDIENTS:
1/2 to 3/4 pound of cooked Penne pasta
1 pound cooked ground chicken
1 cup finely diced onion
1 cup finely diced mushrooms
1 stalk celery finely diced
1 cup or 6-8 stalks sliced asparagus - or more
4 cloves of minced garlic
3 tbsp. tomato paste
1 small can diced tomatoes and juice
2 cups chicken broth
1 cup milk
1 tsp. Italian seasonings
salt and black pepper
2 tbsp. oil
Parmesan cheese

In a pan on medium heat add oil, onions, celery, mushrooms and pinch of salt.
Cook and stir for 3-4 minutes.
Add minced garlic, cook and stir for one minute.
Add diced tomatoes and juice, stir to combine.
Add tomato paste, stir and cook for 2 minutes.
Add chicken broth and milk.
Turn up heat to bring to simmer.
Add Italian seasonings. Cook and stir occassionally for 10-15 minutes.
Add asparagus and cooked chicken. Stir and taste for any seasonings.
Bring up to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes or until asparagus is tender.
Add cooked penne pasta. Cook and stir for 1-2 minutes or until well combined.
Serve with grated parmesan cheese on top.

This is another Amish cobbler recipe using raspberries. Raspberries are one of my favorite berries. Serve with milk, a scoop of ice cream or drizzle a simple icing over the top. Add baking powder to flour and mix well. Add flour mixture to creamed butter/sugar alternating with milk. Mix in between and mix just to combine. Do not overmix. Pour batter into well buttered baking dish and level out. Sprinkle berries on top. Pour juice on top. Bake 350 degrees F for 45-50 minutes until firm and golden brown on top.
