Salisbury Steak Smothered with Mushroom Gravy Classic Recipe

Enjoy. #salisburysteak #tesscooks4u #mushroomgravy #recipes #recipe #cooking #food Salisbury Steak Classic Recipe with Mushroom Gravy INGREDIENTS: Salisbury steak mixture: 1 1/2 pd. ground beef 1 egg 1/2 cup bread crumbs 3 tbsp. ketchup 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce salt 1/4 tsp. black pepper 1/2 tsp. garlic powder 1/2 tsp. onion powder 1 tsp. dried parsley *Mix above ingredients in bowl and form patties Other ingredients: 3 cups beef broth 3 tbsp. butter 4 tbsp. flour 1 tsp. minced garlic 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 large diced onion 1 pd. sliced mushrooms In a skillet on med high heat brown patties about 2 minutes on each side or until a crust forms. Remove patties from pan. Add diced onions and mushrooms. Cook and stir for 5-7 minutes or until the mushrooms release their moisture. Add minced garlic and stir for a minute. Add butter and melt. Add flour, cook and stir for 1 minute. Slowly add beef broth and stir. Add Worcestershire sauce. Bring up to a simmer. Add patties back into pan. Partially cover and cook on low simmer for 40-45 minutes occasionally basting the steaks and flip half way. *****************************************
