Beef Stew Stir Fry Recipe ~ ALL The Flavor of Beef Stew!



This is a different stir fry recipe using ground beef and lots of vegetables. Tonight I made a beef stew stir fry that has all the flavor and comfort of beef stew but less cooking time. Enjoy. #stirfry #beefstew #tesscooks4u #beefstirfry #recipes #cooking #food BEEF STEW STIR FRY RECIPES ~ ALL THE FLAVORS OF BEEF STEW! INGREDIENTS: 1 pound ground beef 1 medium diced onion 1/2 diced yellow bell pepper 4 large sliced mushrooms 4 cloves minced garlic salt and black pepper *Brown ground beef and add onions, bell peppers and mushrooms. Cook and stir 5-7 minutes. Add salt, black pepper and minced garlic. Cook and stir one minute and remove from pan. 1 large sliced carrot 2 large sliced celery stalks 1 1/2 cups cleaned and halved brussels sprouts 3-4 diced plum tomatoes 1/2 cup water 1/2 tsp. thyme 1/2 tsp. rosemary 1/2 tsp. parsley 1/4 tsp. black pepper salt and black pepper In same pan on medium heat add carrots and celery. Cook and stir 2 minutes. Add brussels sprouts, cook and stir 3-4 minutes. Add plum tomatoes, cook and stir 2-3 minutes. Add water, cook and stir for 2 minutes. Add spices, cook and stir for 1 minute. Sauce: 1 cup beef broth - I used 1 tsp. better than bouillon beef 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 2 tbsp. red wine or red cooking wine 2 tsp. cornstarch *Mix well Add sauce to pan with vegetables. Turn heat up to bring to simmer. Stir and simmer for 3-4 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Add meat and other vegetables back into the pan, stir and serve. Chinese Chicken and Snow Pea Stir Fry Recipe ~ Tess Cooks4u

CHINESE CHICKEN AND SNOW PEA STIR FRY INGREDIENTS: 1 to 1 1/2 pounds sliced boneless chicken breast pinch of salt 1 tbsp. cooking wine 1 tbsp. cornstarch *Mix and marinate for 15-20 minutes In wok or pan on high heat add oil and chicken and spread out. Cook 15-20 seconds before stirring. Cook and stir for 5 minutes or until chicken is done. Remove from pan. 2 cups of snow peas 1 diced red bell pepper 1/4 diced green bell pepper 1 small can rinsed and drained sliced water chestnuts 1 cup diced yellow squash 4-6 red chilies 3-4 chopped garden onions - greens and whites separated 4 cloves minced garlic 1 tbsp. minced ginger oil Sauce: 1 cup chicken broth plus 1/2 tsp. better than chicken bouillon 2 tbsp. oyster sauce 1 tsp. dark soy sauce 1 tbsp. chinese cooking wine 1 tbsp. sugar 1 tbsp. cornstarch 1/2 tsp. sesame oil *Mix above ingredients well. In wok or pan on medium to med high heat add oil, minced garlic and ginger, whites of garden onions and water chestnuts. Cook and stir for one minute. Add bell peppers, cook and stir for one minute. Add snow peas, yellow squash and whole red chilies(optional). Cook and stir for 3-4 minutes or until veggies start to get tender. Don't overcook. Add cooked chicken and juices. Stir to combine. Add chopped green onions and sauce. Turn heat up to med high to high. Cook and stir for one minute and the sauce will thicken. Serve with steamed jasmine rice and enjoy.

How To Make Fluffy MASHED POTATOES ~ Basic Recipe Step by Step INGREDIENTS: 4-5 pounds peeled and 3/4" to 1" cubed russet potatoes 1/4 tsp. or more of salt 1/8 tsp. or more of black pepper 3-4 tbsp. butter - room temperature or melted 1 cup or more warm milk or cream - add a little at a time Optional additions: fresh herbs, sour cream, cheese, bacon, etc... Put peeled and cubed potatoes in cold water. Water should be about 1" above the potatoes. Turn heat on high and bring up to a boil. Cook for 10-13 minutes or until tender. Do not over cook as they will be mush. Drain and return to the pan. Add salt, black pepper, butter and a little of the milk. Whip until fluffy. Add warm milk a little at a time whisking in between. Stove Top Brussel Sprouts with Bacon and Apples INGREDIENTS: 1 pound brussel sprouts cleans, ends cut and halved/quartered 1 cups diced onions 1 cup diced apples - I used Fuji 4 slices bacon - cooked and broken in small pieces 2-3 tbsp. butter salt and black pepper In a skillet cook bacon until done and crispy. Remove from pan, cool and break into small pieces. In same skillet on medium heat add butter and diced onions. Cook and stir for 2 minutes. Add brussel sprouts, salt and black pepper. Stir and cook for 7-10 minutes stirring occassionally. Keep heat to low medium, around 5 on my electric stove. Add diced apples and cook for another 5 minutes. Add bacon and stir to combine. Serve and enjoy.

Healing Chinese Chicken Soup Stir Fry INGREDIENTS: 3-4 cups chicken broth - homemade or low sodium boxed 1 tsp. minced ginger 2 cloves sliced garlic 2 tbsp. Shao Hsing cooking wine 1 tsp. light soy sauce 1 tsp. sesame oil pinch of salt 1/8 tsp. white pepper 1 tsp. sugar slurry - 1 tbsp. cornstarch and 2 tbsp. water 1 small diced onion 2 small diced carrots 2 diced stalks of celery about dozen broccoli florets 1 cup diced yellow squash 2 chopped garden onions INGREDIENTS: 1 large boneless chicken breast cut into thin slices 2 tbsp. cornstarch 1 egg white pinch of salt *Mix above ingredients and let set for 10 minutes. Bring pot of water up to almost a boil. Add chicken pieces. They will fall to bottom. Gently stir occassionally. Will take 1-3 minutes to cook depending on size. Chicken will float to top when done. Add chicken broth to pot and bring up to a simmer. Add garlic and ginger and stir. Add cooking wine, soy sauce, salt if needed, white pepper and sugar. Stir and simmer for 3-4 minutes. Add onions, carrots and celery. Cook for 5 minutes or until onions translucent. Add broccoli and cook for a minute. Add yellow squash and cook for a minute. Add any additional broth if wanted or needed. Add chicken into pot, sesame oil and slurry a little at a time until sauce thickned to the consistancy that you like. Cook and stir until combined and sauce thickened. Add chopped green onions and stir one more time. Serve and enjoy.

2 tbsp. fish sauce
2 tbsp. oil - vegetable or a bland oil
1 tbsp. honey
1 tsp. red pepper flakes
juice of a lime

How To Make BBQ Chinese Lo Mein

INGREDIENTS:
1 pound of cooked lo mein noodles - cook to instructions
*Rinse with cold water and drain

1 tbsp. minced garlic
1 tsp. minced ginger
1 med. sliced onion
2 stalks julienne celery
1 julienne carrot
1/2 cup bamboo shoots
2 cups sliced cabbage
oil

Chinese BBQ sauce:
1/2 cup plum sauce
1 tbsp. hoison sauce
1 tbsp. light soy sauce
1 tsp. mushroom flavor dark soy sauce
2 tbsp. ketchup
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1/8 tsp. five spice powder
*Mix above ingredients well

In a deep skillet or wok on medium heat add oil and minced garlic and ginger.
Cook and stir for about 30 seconds and add vegetables.

Turn heat up to medium high, cook and stir for 5-7 minutes or until vegetables are tender.

Add lo mein noodles and pour sauce over top.
Cook and stir to combine.

Enjoy.

The BEST Amish Deli Style Potato Salad Recipe

INGREDIENTS:
3-4 pounds of diced cooked potatoes - I used Russet
1/4 to 1/2 cup finely diced onion
1/2 to 1 cup finely diced celery
3-4 chopped hard boiled eggs
2 tbsp. chopped dill pickle or sweet relish
1 cup mayonnaise
salt and black pepper

Dressing:
2 eggs
3/4 cup white sugar
1 tsp. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp. dry mustard
3 tbsp. butter
*Place above ingredients in medium saucepan and whisk together.
Bring to a boil on medium heat stirring constantly. This will take about 10-15 minutes.
Once thickened, remove from heat, cool to room temp then refrigerate until cold.

Once cold, add mayonnaise and stir and add to potato salad.

Stir all ingredients together and refrigerate for at least 4-6 hours, overnight is better!

Enjoy.

In a pan on medium high heat add water, asparagus, onions, salt and black pepper and minced garlic. Stir, bring up to simmer, cover and cook for 2 minutes. Add pasta and stir to combine. Add olive oil and seasonings and stir to combine. Add tomatoes, mushrooms and parmesan cheese. Cook and stir until tomatoes are heated through and cheese is melted. Serve. Chinese Vegetarian Spaghetti Stir Fry Recipe

INGREDIENTS:
1/3 pound cooked spaghetti
6 garden onions - whites and greens separated - jullienne
1/2 cup celery
1 cup bell peppers
2 cups fresh bean sprouts
2-3 red chili peppers  -  optional
3-4 cloves minced garlic
1 tsp. dark mushroom soy sauce or sub with Braggs liquid Aminos (will not be same flavor)
1-2 tbsp. vegetarian oyster sauce
oil - I'm using avocado oil - choose a healthy high temp oil

In a wok or deep skillet add oil, whites of garden onions, minced garlic, celery, and bell peppers. Cook and stir for 1-2 minutes.
Add bean sprouts. Cook and stir for 1-2 minutes.
Add cooked spaghetti, greens of garden onions, mushroom dark soy sauce, and vegetarian oyster sauce. Cook and stir for one minute until combined and spaghetti heated through.
Serve and enjoy.

Side Dishes ~ Recipes by Tess Cooks4u https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eVUQv... ***************************************** How to Make Creamy Mushroom Risotto INGREDIENTS: 6 cups broth 1 1/4 cups Arborio Rice 1 pound sliced/quartered mushrooms 2-3 tbsp. olive oil small finely diced onion 1/2 cup white wine 3-4 cloves minced garlic sea salt black pepper 2 tbsp. butter 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese chopped fresh parsley Heat broth to a boil and then turn down to a simmer. In a skillet on medium heat add olive oil, mushrooms, minced garlic, salt and black pepper. Cook and stir for 5-7 minutes or until the mushrooms are done. Remove from the heat. In a skillet on medium heat add olive oil, diced onions, salt and black pepper and minced garlic. Cook and stir for a minute and then add white wine. Cook and stir for a minute or two or until wine is absorbed. Add a little broth at a time. Enough to cover the rice. Cook and stir constantly until liquid is absorbed and then add a little more broth. Continue for 15-20 minutes or until the rice is done. The risotto will be creamy. Add mushrooms, chopped parsley and grated parmesan cheese. Stir to combine and then add in butter. Cook and stir until butter is melted.
