Stove Top Brussel Sprouts with Bacon and Apples ~ Holiday Recipe

Stove Top Brussel Sprouts with Bacon and Apples INGREDIENTS: 1 pound brussel sprouts cleans, ends cut and halved/quartered 1 cups diced onions 1 cup diced apples - I used Fuji 4 slices bacon - cooked and broken in small pieces 2-3 tbsp. butter salt and black pepper In a skillet cook bacon until done and crispy. Remove from pan, cool and break into small pieces. In same skillet on medium heat add butter and diced onions. Cook and stir for 2 minutes. Add brussel sprouts, salt and black pepper. Stir and cook for 7-10 minutes stirring occassionally. Keep heat to low medium, around 5 on my electric stove. Add diced apples and cook for another 5 minutes. Add bacon and stir to combine. Serve and enjoy.
