Asian Recipes by Tess Cooks4u https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-YIct... ***************************************** How to Make Classic Pad Thai Stir Fry Recipe INGREDIENTS: 1 package Pad Thai rice noodles 8-12 large shelled and cleaned shrimp 1/2 cup to 3/4 cup thin sliced chicken 1/2 cup diced red onions 1/4 cup sliced julienne carrots *you will find pickled radish in authentic Pad Thai 4 cloves minced garlic 1 cup fresh bean sprouts (if canned, rinse and drain well) 1 cup extra firm tofu - drained and patted dry, cut into 3/4" pieces 2 eggs 1/2 cup chopped green onions 3/4 cup crushed peanuts Sauce: 3 tbsp. sugar 3 tbsp. fish sauce (3 Crab) 2 (or 3 T if not using lime juice) tbsp. Tamarind paste 1 tbsp. lime juice 1 tsp. Thai Chili powder / or Siracha - optional 1/4 cup water *In a bowl, mix above ingredients - whisk well. Cook or soak Pad Thai rice noodles according to package instructions. Prep and prepare everything before cooking. In a pan on medium high heat add oil and drained, patted dry tofu. Cook 3-4 minutes until golden brown. Remove from heat and set to the side. In a pan on medium high heat add oil, chicken and shrimp. Cook for 3-4 minutes until done. Remove from heat and set to the side.. In a pan on medium heat add oil, minced garlic, onions and julienne carrots. *This is where you add pickled radish if you have. Cook and stir for 2-3 minutes. Add noodles and sauce and mix well. Push noodles to side, add a little oil and two eggs. Cook, stir and chop until fine then mix in with the noodles. Add bean sprouts, chopped green onions, tofu, peanuts and chicken and shrimp back into the pan. Stir to mix well. Serve with extra bean sprouts, chopped green onions and peanuts and slices of lime.
