Asian Cabbage Spring Rolls Recipe ~ Healthy Spring Roll & Dipping Sauce



This Asian Cabbage Spring Roll recipe is easy. healthy and delicious. For these spring rolls I used napa cabbage filled with an Asian seasoned ground chicken, rice vermicelli noodles and vegetables for crunch. I also make two Asian dipping sauces to dip the cabbage spring rolls. These can be served as an appetizer , brunch or lunch. A light healthy meal. Asian Recipes by Tess Cooks4u https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-YIct... ***************************************** Asian Cabbage Spring Rolls Recipe INGREDIENTS: Napa cabbage leaves - blanched and cooled 1 pound ground chicken 1/4 cup sesame oil 2-3 tbsp. hoison sauce 6-8 cloves minced garlic 1 tbsp. minced ginger 1 cup diced onions 3-4 chopped red chilies - optional cold cooked vermicelli noodles carrots green onions cucumbers snow peas In a pan on med high heat add sesame oil, minced garlic and ginger. Cook and stir for 20 seconds and then add in ground chicken. Cook and stir for 4-5 minutes or until the chicken in no longer pink. Add in minced onions and red chilie peppers (optional). Cook and stir for 2-3 minutes. Add in hoison sauce. Cook and stir for a couple minutes and then remove from heat, let completely cool and refrigerate. This chicken mixture also freezes well. Spicy Garlic Sauce: 1/4 cup water 2 tbsp. soy sauce 1 tbsp. shaoxing wine 1 tsp. minced garlic 1 tsp. minced ginger 1 tbsp. honey 1/2 tsp. sesame oil green onions red chilies *Mix above ingredients Asian Peanut Sauce: 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter 2-3 tbsp. soy sauce 1 tbsp. honey 1/2 tsp. sesame oil *Mix above ingredients until smooth Have all of your ingredients prepped, cold and ready. Spoon on some of the chicken mixture, then vermicelli and then top with vegetables of your choice. Roll in cabbage leaf. Tuck in the sides if you can. Cut and serve with side sauces.
