The General Tso Chicken is crispy and tender with an awesome sweet, heat and tang sauce. General Tso's chicken always ends up on my plate at the restuarant. It is one of my favorites. Enjoy.

The Best General Tso's Chicken ~ Spicy Chinese Chicken Recipe
INGREDIENTS:
Chicken marinade:
1 pound cubed boneless chicken breasts or thighs
1/4 tsp. Kosher salt
1 egg
2 tsp. Shaoxing cooking wine
1/2 cup cornstarch
Sauce:
3/4 cup chicken broth
1 tbsp. light soy sauce
1 tbsp. dark soy sauce
1 tbsp. hoison sauce
2 tbsp. rice wine vinegar
2 tbsp. Shaoxing cooking wine
3 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. cornstarch
*Mix above ingredients
6-8 red chili peppers - dried or I used pickled
1/2 cup diced onions - optional
1 tbsp. minced garlic
1 tsp. minced ginger
oil
Prepare chicken and fry in oil for 3-4 minutes or until done.
Remove and drain on paper towel.
In wok / pan on medium high heat add oil, minced garlic and ginger.
Stir for 15-20 seconds and add onions and chili peppers.
Stir and cook for 1-2 minutes.
Add sauce and bring up to simmer. Let cook for a minute.
Add chicken and stir to coat well.
Serve with steamed jasmine rice.
Enjoy.
